Intermediate 12 Week Half Marathon Training Plan

This 12 week half marathon training plan is for you if you have run a half marathon before and are looking to improve upon your performance or push your workouts and weekly mileage a bit more.

Starting at 20 miles per week and building to 45 miles per week by week 10, this program is primarily based on five training days per week with an optional sixth thrown in from time to time.

Don’t worry if you’re fairly new to running or just need a refresher. Included in your plan is a training terms glossary as well as basic information on strength training, nutrition, recovery, and more to supplement your running.
